These terms explain the rules for using our website and platform. By using Equinnovate, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who we are

Equinnovate is operated by EQUINNOVATE group, a SAS registered in France under company number 934 536 475, with its registered office at 229 rue Saint-Honoré 75001 PARIS. You can contact us at contact@equinnovate.tech.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Equinnovate. "You" and "your" refer to anyone who uses our website or platform.

2. What Equinnovate does

Equinnovate provides AI-powered analysis of equine conformation, gait, and biomechanics based on photo and video footage you upload. Our tools include MorphoPredict (conformation analysis), StrideValue (gait analysis), and ShockMetrics (impact force assessment), as well as an API for integrating these analyses into other platforms.

3. Who can use Equinnovate

You can use Equinnovate if you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you are using Equinnovate on behalf of a company, organisation, or studbook, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

4. Accounts

Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Keep your password confidential.

  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Equinnovate for any unlawful purpose.

  • Upload videos you do not have the right to use.

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell our platform or its outputs.

  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our website.

  • Interfere with the security or integrity of our service.

  • Misrepresent Equinnovate's outputs as something other than what they are (see Section 8).

6. Your content

You keep ownership of any video footage and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading it, you give us permission to process, analyse, and store it for the purpose of providing the service to you, and to improve our models in anonymised and aggregated form. We will not sell or share Your Content with third parties except as needed to deliver the service or as required by law.

If you don't want your content used to improve our models, you can opt out by writing to contact@equinnovate.tech.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the content you submit, including any necessary permissions from horse owners, breeders, or rights holders depicted in the footage.

7. Our content and intellectual property

Equinnovate, our logo, our platform, our scientific methods, our reference databases, and the analyses we produce are protected by intellectual property law. You may use the analyses we provide for your own professional purposes (breeding decisions, veterinary records, sales documentation, training programmes), but you may not republish, resell, or build a competing service from our outputs without our written permission.

8. Important limitations of our analyses

This section matters. Please read it carefully.

Equinnovate's analyses are decision-support tools. They are not:

  • A veterinary diagnosis or a substitute for in-person veterinary examination.

  • A guarantee of athletic performance, breeding outcome, or commercial value.

  • A replacement for professional judgement by a qualified veterinarian, trainer, breeder, or buyer.

Our outputs are statistical measurements positioned against a reference database. They describe what is observable in the footage you provide. They do not predict the future health, soundness, or performance of any individual horse. Decisions about purchase, breeding, training, or veterinary care should always involve qualified professionals examining the horse in person.

9. Service availability

We do our best to keep Equinnovate running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will give reasonable notice for planned downtime where possible.

10. Pricing and payment

Pricing for our services is shown on our website or agreed in writing for API and enterprise integrations. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude applicable taxes. Payment terms, refund policy, and cancellation rights are set out in your subscription agreement or order confirmation.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Equinnovate is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, lost opportunities, or reputational harm).

  • Decisions you make based on our analyses, including but not limited to purchase, breeding, veterinary, or training decisions.

  • Loss or corruption of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

12. Privacy and data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at equinnovate.tech/privacy. If you are based in the European Union, you have specific rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact contact@equinnovate.tech.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. You can stop using Equinnovate and close your account at any time by contacting us.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Equinnovate after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris. If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the country where you live.
